Ronnie Scott

Ronnie has forty years of experience in the energy industry. Until recently, Mr. Scott was CEO of Development Capital Resources (DCR), a firm with approximately one-half billion dollars of oil and gas investments. In addition to DCR, he has simultaneously served as CEO of ECR with over 750 million dollars in electric generation and gas processing investments and is a co-founder of DCR Power, a privately held power generation company. Previously, Mr. Scott served as CEO of True Oil Company, a private equity backed oil and gas firm, and as President and COO of Henry Petroleum and its successor companies, Henry Resources and HPC Energy, all privately held energy firms based in Midland, Texas. Mr. Scott began his career with Exxon holding various supervisory and managerial assignments in Engineering, Operations, Planning, and Financial Accounting and Reporting. In addition to the Permian Basin, he has had assignments covering operational areas in the Gulf of Mexico, Gulf Coast, California, and the Rocky Mountains. He was the Technical Manager for Exxon’s multi-billion-dollar onshore operations in the Western United States prior to moving to privately held energy firms. Mr. Scott has served on the board of directors of three publicly traded energy companies as well as seven privately held energy companies. Mr. Scott is on the board of the Midland, Texas Chamber of Commerce, is a Vice President of the Board of the Henry Foundation, and was a founding board member of Educate Midland, a non-profit focused on public education in West Texas. Ronnie has worked actively to advance public education in Midland for many years. Mr. Scott holds Master and Bachelor of Science degrees in Electrical Engineering and is a Registered Professional Engineer in the State of Texas.

Matt Loreman

Matt has 20 years of experience in energy industry. Matt is currently President of Development Capital Resources (DCR), a firm with over $500 million in oil and gas investments. In addition to DCR, he simultaneously served as President of ECR, a company with >$750 million in electric generation and gas processing investments, and is a co-founder of DCR Power. Previously, Matt served as a Managing Director in Evercore’s Oil & Gas Advisory group in Houston. While at Evercore, Matt focused on the upstream space and executed a variety of merger, acquisition, divestiture, capital raising and restructuring transactions. Prior to joining Evercore, Matt worked in the Natural Resources Investment Banking group of J.P. Morgan in Houston. Matt advised clients on transactions in a variety of plays and basins including: Delaware Basin, Midland Basin, STACK/SCOOP, Eagle Ford, Bakken, DJ Basin, Marcellus/Utica, Barnett, California, Rockies Gas, Haynesville, GOM and International Offshore. Mr. Loreman has served on the board of directors of 3 privately-held energy companies. Matt holds a B.A. in Economics, English and Philosophy from Rice University.

Eric Monus
SVP & Chief Technical Officer

Eric has over 15 years of experience in the energy industry. Prior to DCR Power, Eric served as VP of Operations & Engineering for Development Capital Resources (DCR) and ECR. At DCR Eric oversaw the >$500 million investment in 130 new drill wells in the Permian and Mid-Con. At ECR Eric was responsible for operations surveillance, budgeting, and reporting for the JV assets which included a 550 MW combined cycle power plant and a 200 mmcfd gas processing facility. Prior to joining DCR, Eric served as a Director in BMO Capital Market’s A&D group and has over $2.5B of divestment experience. Prior to joining BMO, Eric was an engineer at ExxonMobil where he had a successful track record of supporting large projects including an international waterflood asset with a behind the meter 120MW gas fired powerplant for self-generation. Eric holds a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Texas A&M University and is a Registered Professional Engineer in the State of Texas.

Drew Ahlgrim
Controller

Drew has over 10 years of experience in the energy industry. Prior to DCR Power, Drew was the Director of Accounting and Finance for Development Capital Resources (DCR) and ECR. Previously, Drew was part of the finance and accounting team with Valaris Limited. Prior to Valaris, Drew was an upstream Operations Accounting & Analysis Division Lead at Southwestern Energy for the company’s Fayetteville Shale and Exploration divisions. Mr. Ahlgrim holds a B.A. in Economics and Business from Hendrix College and is a Certified Public Accountant.
